yesterday in biotechniques class i' m forced to view forensic science pictures of raped dead woman with maggots in certain areas, then pics of dead men with maggots and flies up the nose. after almost puking a plethora of times, i go on to the next class where our teacher hsa taken an early t-giving break leaving us with some fruitcake for a substitute. today i wake up after 3 hours of wonderful sleep after work to go to my 9:30 am class. as i pull in, my friend calls "i think class is cancelled no one's here". so after an hour and a half of gettin ready for class and driving around i come home now for 2 hours befor ei have to go back to do an optional study lab. EEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

Yea. In your next life just remember to not pick a major that might involve watching maggot infested corpses being cut open. Just my $.02.

 

i'm a bio major i didnt think maggots would be involved. i'm NOT a forensic science major, it was just the lab i happened to pick that involves a bunch of diff. areas, somehow maggots got included in that.

and they werent being cut open, just pics .

 

It's a shame you didn't get to see the cadavers down in Sanger hall on the MCV campus...nothing like looking through the eyes of a dead person...cause their brain was removed and one of their eyeballs fell out.

 

i could have handled that just fine. i dont have a weak stomach when it comes to dead stuff and cadavers, i think its cool as hell to do incisions and dissections, etc. its that whole maggot thing, something eatig on dead flesh. *shrug*
