Anyone want to get a team (or a few) together for Chick-Fil-A dodgeball tournament? We had a lot of fun last time, minus a few stitches, and got to play quite a few games rotating people around.

Didn't really care about winning, it was just a lot of fun even if some of the other "teams" were in it for the competition. Had a good lunch afterwards at Bottoms Up Pizza downtown. Think I still have a few coupons for free Chick-Fil-A sandwiches, haha!

$200/team, goes to charity. 6-10 people per team, 6 play at once from what I remember but you can sub in/out and get to play a bunch of times in the tournament -- we even won a few games!

10 people was quite a lot for one team, but it did split up the cost to only $20/each. If we go in for 8 people per team, that's $25/each.

It's pretty much a 3/4 day event October 27th (Saturday). If you are interested in joining, I don't mind coordinating a few teams together. Let's start a roster!

Good reason to come on down for the day.

We did practice, or try to, before the tourney. Think it was good to do that and we should do it again, just not at American Family Fitness. Maybe at a tennis court thing with foam balls from wally world that would be similar to the ones that the tourney uses. Dodging wrenches optional. We also need to come up with team names.

Doesn't the winning team get free Chic Fil-a for a year? I almost entered this last year with a friend's team from Ntelos.

 

Yeah, but there are some hard-core teams out there. We went to have fun, and did. Charlotte and I helped get a team together last year.
