cheap place to do tire mounting and balancing
hey all,
Im about to order some tires from tirerack.com and need to find a cheap place to mount and balance four tires. tire sizes are two 255-40-17 and 215-45-17.
I called several places and they charge 80 bucks for all tires.
Do you guys know any shop that can do for a cheap price?

Walmart Tire Center, I paid $5 mount and $5 for balancing each on 33" tires. Warning though, you get what you pay for.. sometimes you'll get the guy who just wants it done and over with so he can go home and drink... However mine came out pretty well.

Know anyone who recently graduated from high school? I had a friend who took auto shop in high school and his old teacher hooked me up with a free install.

OP- $15-%18 is a reasonably going rate to mount/balance tires.

thanks guys for your input. i guess walmart is a no for me..i dont wanna take the risk..
where do you guys get your tires ordered from online? is tire rack pretty much the cheapest place to go for?
and do you guys know if id be able to find a coupon, or is it for the returning customers only?
I've SEARCHED but nothing came up besides all these sites with coupons that i don't need.

Usually get mine from Discount Tire Direct. Usually a bit cheaper than Tire Rack, and the prices on the site include the shipping cost. Not quite as big a variety of tires though.
