CCW permit course, gauging interest
Friend of mine at work is gauging interest in getting together a group to take a Carry Concealed Weapons (CCW) permit course. You do not need to get a CCW permit after taking the course, it's good information about laws, regulations, and safety.
Usually a half day on Saturday mornings, about $50. Take the course's certificate to the county courthouse to register for a CCW permit for $50/5yr.
Course would most likely be located on Parham Rd in the Far West End or on Route 60 (Midlothian Turnpike) in Chesterfield.

Classroom course about laws, regulations, and safety. Don't need a gun or even to own one. From what I remember, need to be 18 to take the course and 21 for the permit. Lots of people take the course with their spouses or significant others. Good idea if you have a gun in the house.
