body kits and wheels dont make everything ricey....he doesnt drive a civic with a unpainted wings west kit, or a mustang with a shogun kit, with metal wings from pep boys with 17*7 adr wheels with a +40 offset and altezzas....a nice looking set of wheels and a nice kit will make the car look better not ricey...theres more to a car then making it fast especially when the car you own is already a quick car......

this car is not ricey at all...theres more money in the wheels then most of our cars cost! oh yeah but its got a body kit so its ricey, right? i guess some people just cant stand a car that; not only is faster then there car, but also looks better then whatever they have...

VIP is basically a style that encompasses many aspects of a car. VIP cars are big heavy 4 door japanese sedans that are fitted with big lipped wheels, stretched tires, very low, body kits, and most of them are factory turboed with all the supporting mods i.e. intercoolers etc.

Alot of people I think on here confuse a VIP car with a DUB style cars. They are NOT the same.

Classic VIP style cars in japan are Crowns, Mark II's etc.
This is a VIP style car. Its not my thing...I like lighter more nible cars that are not as baller. But to say its gay like we have a better style here in richmond....I dont get that??

 

Just making commentary on jzs' opinion. He seems to think that because someone spent more money on their car, its not ricey. I personally think that Soarer in that pic looks nice. I wouldn't drive it though. I wouldn't consider it VIP either, which pretty much neglects his whole argument that VIP is the coolest thing since sliced bread. Perhaps I should go find some big rims, and slam my car, call it VIP.

Damn, you act like I just kicked you in the box. Did I hurt your feelings? Yes, that car is hideous. I wouldn't be caught dead in/around something like that. It has very little to do with money and a whole lot to do with having good taste, which someone who would make a car look like that obviously doesn't have. VIP is just a catch phrase someone came up with to get around admitting their car is rice.
