Car Plans: Revisited.
Well, I'm sure some of us have changed plans for our cars since the last thread about this (I posted when I first joined.) I know mine have changed drastically.
I will not be building up the current MR2. I will either a) keep it and save for a mr2 turbo or b) sell it and buy a beater. The beater I want is a friend's car but his parents might be giving him a Civic for graduation. It's a Mazda 323 (lol) and I would get it for like $500. I would strip that car out and get it sub-2000lbs.
All this is in effort to save for an MR2 Turbo. Preferably 93+.

- Black
- Black Volk GTN wheels (front: 17x7, rear: 17x9)
- Mods to get ~300rwhp. I found a site that had a nice mod-path for doing this but I'll probably just end up asking fellow MR2 drivers for advice.
- More saving for widebody kit
Then I will hopefully be able to restrain myself and have a nice, streetable car. :] Not sure what color the car would be once it went widebody; thinking Silver.

Plans:
1) get exhaust fixed (clogged passenger cat).
2) get spare upper and lower Cobra intake polished or extrude honed.
3) slap on slicks and hit 11s naturally aspirated.
4) save up for bail.

- fuel and supporting mods to run a BIG 28 turbo (300+rwp)
- Limited Slip Diff
- 17X8 225/45's all around
- JDM tail lights
- two DOHC VTEC stickers on each side (for the girls).

once my m3 diff gets in, thats going on
then im getting cams or converting the obd2 to obd1

heavy duty i/c piping
ported head (in the works)
ported intake (in the works)
8.8 rear w/ posi and 3.73s or 4.10s
compucar wet kit (aka, nitrous that nobody's heard of he he)
good street/dot tires to hold 6k drops (in the works)
some'll be on b4 my deadline, others i hope to have by the end of the summer. other than all that, it's jus hangin on and prayin for 12s

Get my nylon bushings in
get bodykit installed and painted.
new shocks
swaybars
finish my big brake kit.
carbonfiber hood
then rebuild motor and slap a TO4E on there.
and somewhere in there new wheels.. 18x9 and 18x10

i was thinking about selling it but changed my mind since one dude backed out of the offer
before i leave for the army in 2 weeks im probably going to try and deal with some of the rust spots on my car and shit and when i get back prep the car for painting and then get someone to paint it
lot of things id like to do but there is no aftermarket at all for this car but i just cant bear my self to part with it

KLZE intake manifold
KLZE cams
J-Spec LSD tranny
forged robs and pistons (later down the raod)
MSD ignition
Ground kit
be the only probe around here to break into the 12's (wont happen anytime soon, just aiming for low 13's right now
