Nic...say it aint so.
Never say never, get away from that car for now and you will eventually feel like fiddling with it and you'll get it running. Just think how many times i wanted to sell my GT and i finally said, fuck it..i'll race it. Just gotta stick with some things and they work out.
My vote - keep the car, pull the motor apart, find easy fix, button it back up, run 10's
