get a friend with a wench to rip that civic out of the way... i told you he was fuckin you over about the pistons just trying to get money out of you.. the guy is a con, he does this all the time.. i may be able to help you a little with labor over the break however my labor isn't free... my rates are very reasonable though

 

cool,thanks alot dave,yeah i meant to try to pull or push that civic to see if it would budge, One of my friends up here with a 20g'ed tsi is going to help me put it back together though,thanks for the offer still ,hopefully if i get the carby like the end of this week, i should be drving it be next week hopefully

 

cool.. bring some hydraulic jacks with you next time.. if you have to, jack up the civic and roll it. as for the pistons, as i said, he was trying to rip you, BUT that doesn't mean you shouldn't look yourself.. there is a chance they are damaged but most likely they are fine if the car was under no load when the belt broke... you might lose a little compression if anything.

Yeah i will still check them out for sure, if they are nicked i possibly might switch them out but i don't know. And yeah the next time i go i am going with somebody with a truck or someting in case the civic doesn't roll. Oh and thanks about commiet on the car, i think consdiering that the car has really been sitting over a year,it doesn't look bad at all the the super bald michielns on it still have plenty of air in them, and yeah i am going to try really hard to make it to the fairfax meet, really want to meet some of you guys, i will be all stock though more than likely,but it's all good,thanks again
