Are there any 3M clearshield installers in the central VA area? I called one company and they wanted $850 which i thought was kind of high. I did try searching and came up on a thread from a year ago where i saw Terry say that there is no one local but has any places opened up that does quality installs?

only place that I know of is Concours on broad but according to kevin they suck so I never went.

And there are many places in Nova

Expect to pay atleast $850 for a hood, bumper and kick up areas.

The place I went to in Nova charges about $1500-2000
But then again when they fucked up my car mirror and came out of pocket with 3 grand no questions asked it was worth it

But yeah $750-2000 is the range to install it

Most of the money is in the labor not material...its hard to install that shit on body panels around curves and crevices without being able to tell that its even there

Thanks for the info Terry. I just made an appointment to have it done next wednesday. I called up Euroclassics and asked them who does the work for them and I decided to use the people that Euroclassics uses.

I have a new guy that does all of our stuff and it's the best Clearbra I've ever seen. It's the same company that did Terry's RX7.

$550 to install 3M on my little red car by a company out in California, just as a price comparison. Hood, rear fenders, behind the seats where it could rub the paint.

Could ya'll add the 3M installers to the recommended shops sticky for future reference?

strange. I called one place and thet quoted me 300 for my mazdaspeed front bumper for my rx8.

I gotta remember who it was though. ill get at ya after I get out of this boring ass class

I work at Concours on Broad and one of my friends does the 3M clearbra installations. He does GREAT work. I'm sorry if you feel as if the work is sub-par but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

We mainly deal with higher end BMW, Infiniti, Lexus and Mercedes where the owners are EXTREMELY picky, so the work needs to be very precise. Any problems with the installion will be fixed immediately, as we offer a 5 year warranty on the work.

The price for the installation is $550 for the kit and $100 extra for headlights(I Think, don't quote me). If you're interested, swing by the shop or call 747-0130. We are located across the street from Crown Acura.

We also do full detailing and dent removal.
