the holes on 295 are gonna be filled in. if theyre bad enough they get cut out, then the whole road will be repaved. thats an ongoing project.
64 is getting the same thing. its all on their website.
theyre not gonna "tear the whole thing down", just repave over the existing bed. they cant repave under the bridges though, thats why there are always dips going under them.

sure, but the "unnecessary" stuff is controversial. i'm on several legislative advisory panels and help decide that stuff. there's not much left to cut, and when you start cutting projects tied to jobs, you lose the income tax revenue.
