Hey guys..... went to replace my strut today and ran into a brick wall basically. My damper pinch bolt is stuck and my tools are to shitty to get it off. PLEASE someone help me. I have them but I cant get enough tourqe on the wrench to get it loose. This sux big ones.

i have an impact and a breaker bar. your welcome to borrow either. the impacts on the southside and the breaker bar is with me in the west end. if you got a pretty strong ratchet put a pipe on it. another trick is if you got some large box end wrenches slip the box end over the ratchet handle to lengthen it. works great then theres the put the ratchet on and smack it with a hammer. its some shade tree shit but meh, get it done

 

haha... just tried that about 10min ago... resulted in a cut wrist

Alright ...... going back out to do the pipe method.

 

Pipe method was a no go.
