Project Do-lay
Well I am back with yet another project. For those who remember I had the ugly duckling bug and then tetnus the bus. Decided to get rid of the bus after digging deeper and finding the frame rails were completely shot so off it went. This go around I picked up a 92' chevy pickup for next to nothing.
The plans on this one will be (of course) bag and body drop, ditch the bed as the body work was done poorly to accommodate cadillac taillights, build a new custom bed (will reflect the direction of the build), turn it into a dually with either 22" or 24" big rig wheels, get rid of the tired 350 sbc for a nice 12v cummins, full custom interior with some secrets added.
This will be a slow build as I am trying to buy a house so bare with me on it.
The new bed in question will some what resemble the on on this dodge.

Re: Project Do-lay
Something different then the typical honda, nissan, and brostang build. The only thing I am still indecisive about is how to paint the damn thing.

Re: Project Do-lay
The truck came with a cadillac front clip but I don't think I will use it since it will not go with the theme of the truck. I will either keep the stock front end and graft a 2500 HD hood on the original or just do the whole 2015 HD front end swap. Any opinions would be helpful on that decision. Here is the clip that came with it.
