Met up w/ some fellow Corvette owners at Quaker Steak & Lube in NN then cruised the Colonial Parkway and went to the Yorktown Pub to drink beer... was a fun day... good turnout for a random February.

Looks like a fun time. Haven't been to Quaker since I lived in FL.

But I lol'd at the guy wearing a vette shirt and hat to a vette cruise.

That was Munch and Gary... the plate was GB Vette for Gary Ballard... car is insane. 700+ rwhp, tons of custom work. He's the one that guided me through my targa conversion my my Z06.
I'd never been there... was good. Nothing worth driving from Va Beach to just eat there, but a great spot for a gathering. Hey I was wearing my Corvette T-shirt But yeah I agree, don't want to overdue it. If I'm wearing Corvette shit I try to keep it to one article of clothing. I agree that the shirt + hat + vette sunglasses etc. gets way overkill.

What kind of reaction do you get on the interstate from cops? I'd imagine they'd be a little more friendly to a bunch vettes compared to a younger crowd in dropped hondas and exhausts and what not.

If I could afford a vette I'd definitely get one, seems like a good crowd.

thats the one that has the purple ghost flames in the engine bay with all the polished engine parts right??

if so i saw that at the show in newport news park...car is incredible
