nothing else i want to do to it...dirve it back and forth to work and to the track...sure there's a lot i can do to it, but for the purpose of why i bought it, it's done...only modifications i'll be doing is track related, and since i'm a novice, there's nothing more to do except spend money on track time

Hmmm... I don't heel-toe in the traditional way... feet are too big and legs too long in most cars. I brake w/ the left 1/2 of the ball of my rt foot and then roll my foot to the right to blip the gas. Slick pedals would result in my foot slipping off the brake pedal.

That was my first though... for the cost of your LCA's and some sofa cushion change you could have did the disc swap, which if your thinking of getting that car on a track at all i would not be running a drum for sure.
