what's ironic is that when he picked this hood up, it was propped against a mailbox.
those dents don't look too bad for something temporary... actually the reflection of the light in the picture looks like another dent. at least you got a piece of metal to cover your engine.
if the other hood hasn't shipped, it might be worth considering fixing and painting that hood. might be cheaper than a new hood...
