My two Maximas
I have had D2's, ground controls, Tein S-techs, and eibach pro kit. I like my coilover set ups. The S-techs were too soft for the drop, my tires would rub in the fender wells if I hit anything bigger than a small bump. The Eibach's rode nice but the drop did not look very even. It lowered the rear nicely, but the front still had a pretty big gap. One sping that I know most people are happy with is the Sprint springs. They give you a 2" drop with a pretty good ride. They set the car up so it sits at a rake, but the rear springs have a few dead coils that can be cut out to even up the drop and not affect the performace. Just PM me if you need more help. maxima.org is petty helpful too as far as information, and finding used parts.
i had a 98 se manual and i miss it very much...they both look great(i understand the draw to them)...ride height is a personal choice...let them ride how you want them to.....mine had a stillen air charger and the greddy cat back, hids and 2001 20th anniversary wheels, and the d2's also..it was a great highway car...i averaged 50,000 + miles a year for 3 years and gave it to my little sister....i miss it and even at 300,xxx miles its still a great car.....and not too shabby at the track either
