more updates... work on the car from like 10am - 7:30pm today since it was not inside an active volcano hot out..

pulled off the main part of the oil pan so i can reseal it just since i have the motor out, i might as well... dont want any leaks when i put this thing in the car..



I pulled out the front main seal so i can replace it... cleaned the front cover for the engine, half way shot and an after "clean" shot.





new front main seal remember i dont want any leaks... like at all, i HATE redoing things that i've already done, so i always do way more than needed just in case.



was mocking up the oil pan, had the motor upside down on the stand then i applied the sealant and put the oil pan on... only to notice that the stock bolts are too short for the greddy pan so i had to pull off all the silicone and bag everything up since i cleaned the hell out of everything because im paranoid of getting metal/dirt etc in the motor and it failing on me...



now i have to go buy some longer bolts somewhere.. which sucks because I was on a good roll today haha...
anyway i had some food and just was looking over the motor some more and saw that my water pump looked like it had maybe previously had a leak, so i pulled it off and cleaned it up/resealed it and put on the pulley (which i cleaned as well, this car was in a bodyshop for a couple years before i got it so needless to say everythings covered in dust.)

after i did that i decided to put on my exhaust manifold and did that, new gaskets for the manifold to head and the oil return line as well as a downpipe gasket and well, theres a lot of gaskets i replaced..
i also replaced my intake manifold gasket (the one that bolts in between the runners) and i will put the plastic gasket i got thats brand new between the head and the intake once i drive the car that has the gasket in it to my storage unit ( i was pissed it was in the subaru and not the fd today..)
also thanks to wyt rice for letting me join his super famous pen-15 club, hahaha.




was looking through some parts and found a nismo oil cap, it didnt have the rubber gasket on it, but luckily i have a brand new one sitting in my bag of gaskets and put it on.



i also hammered down the pinch weld thats in the wheel wells, and got the wiring harness ready to go up a little higher so i dont rip it to shreds when im doing one million mph on the interstate..
i only got part of the pinch welds because the stupid wheels wouldnt come off the car, i was actually making the tires screech when i was trying to get them off... i hope i dont get a hernia from this haha... mark has a unit next door to mine with an impact wrench so i can get them off (i hope)




more to come soon, im tired of paying 200$ a month to have my car just sit there... and dream about driving it, its the slow time at work so i can get more stuff done... i wanna drive this bitch
