Re: My RHD 240 Build Thread
i think a lot of those builds you all are talking about with various hp outputs all come down to how well the engine is built combined with the tune. a proper tune can make or break a car and can also be the deciding factor from 230hp and 300hp. wut size injectors do u have on ur sr20?

I'm not saying a T28 isn't a capable turbo to make a fun amount of power (I mean I have one on my SR). But you aren't going to make 300whp on a 240 with one.

Re: My RHD 240 Build Thread
^^^ Thanks much Chris!!!
The FWD and RWD SR are extremely similar, so I do not see why you think a T28 on a 240 SR should perform any differently than the same FWD variant.
I think there is a little more to why the 240 boys have not been making good numbers on a T28 (and I can assure you, I am pretty sure it would probably be the tune, barring all mechanical problems are even/sorted).
As I have shown, the SR can make those numbers easily. And even though not exactly comparable, ask a few DSM guys on thier thoughts on a T28. This was a hot upgrade for the second gen guys before the 16G turbo became affordable and available
P.S Were they using a S15 turbo Chris?? Because if so, its close to par with a garrett GT28RS (I think, dont quote me on this). Its definately comparable to a disco potato. I will have to dig up some info on the specs, but its comparable to one of garrett gt series turbo with a T2 housing capable of making close to 400 bhp. A little different from a GTi-R T28 (or S14 T28 turbo (or T28/T25 as its somewhat of a hybrid))
Anyways, I am done thread jacking.........
