my eg work in progress

Re: my eg work in progress
IIRC many spoon engines have stock bottom ends, fully balanced (to the exact mm!!!1!!11), some head work, an ECU reprogram, and a few bolt-on Spoon parts.
Nothing your local (reputable) machine shop can't do just as well. Nothing you'd want to be boosting, either.

Re: my eg work in progress
I hate hearing people say i am buying a spoon motor, lol. I thought spoon built motors are more built towards endurance racing etc not "hardcore" all motor mad tyte jdm horsepower type of shit. You could buy a gsr and do a couple boltons for way cheaper and use the rest to build your b16 for boost. This kid must have deep pockets. JDM Is Awesome too......... Remember ebay jdm is better too............. I say just buy 5 gallons of gas and let our imagination help you out.

Re: my eg work in progress
Umm you'd rather just spend ten grand on a "spoon" engine?? wtf. Buy that b18b bottom end, throw some b16 pistons on the ls rods, throw your b16 head on, get a decent header and a blox intake manifold, 310's and a simple tune and be good to go for less than 2000$.
