Mom decided she didn't want another small sports car so after 9 years of driving a Corvette she's back into a luxury sedan (Had an '89 BMW 735i before the Corvette, yes they keep cars a LONG time). She was looking at the new CTS, but has always had an eye for the CLS Benz... though she had no clue what model MB it was. We were talking cars and her options for a new car and I let her knew that MB's had severe depreciation and a 2 or 3 year old car could be had for 1/2 price.

So after 2 weeks of research and searching she settled on this one... it's a 2007 with 15,xxx miles, fully-optioned with the AMG Sport Appearance Package (revised front and rear facias, side skirts, split spoke 18" wheels, and different floormats. They're flying to Memphis on Saturday to get it

The "real deal" CLS63 still goes for around 60k used, brakes are more expensive (way more), and the 19" wheels require 19" tires which cost significantly more than the 18s.... plus my mom is 57, she doesn't need 507 horses... 382 is fine.

You do realize we can see the other houses in the background, right? I grew up around people with money, so its no big deal, I'm just saying, its obvious your parent's have money, so don't try to play it off like they don't. If other people make it a big deal its probably because they are jealous. There's nothing wrong with having a rich family.
