makes yo dookie twinkle.
Based on the CCXR model, the limited-edition supercar appears to have a simple silver paint job from a distance, but a closer look reveals a bare carbon fiber body coated with a unique diamond finish put directly into the weave using a process specially developed by Koenigsegg. According to the company, use of the "Koenigsegg Proprietary Diamond Weave" (catchy, eh?) means that "When sunlight hits the car, it sparkles like millions of silvery white diamonds infused inside the visible carbon fiber weave bodywork."

Re: Koenigsegg Trevita
What's the body made from, or at least the outside layer? The first person that says "silver carbon fiber" gets a kick in the nuts because carbon isn't any color but black.
Is that just a metalflake-heavy clearcoat over carbon?
Edit: Nevermind, just saw the post above. It sounds like they're doing some kind of vapor deposit or sputter coating or something on the carbon before it's made into prepreg (that's "dry carbon" if you like meaningless automotive aftermarket lingo that no one else actually uses). Probably similar to Texallium, which is woven fiberglass that has an aluminum coating on it, making it look kinda like chrome.
