Default Insanely off topic Sea-doo RXP build thread.

Edit Misspelled thread title... So I have been requested (Travis) to make a build thread of the Maya Gold RXP I have for sale. Honestly to this point I will be basically copying and pasting the F/S add. As it best describes it up to this point. I have a few more things to get for it and some gel coat work to do to the underside of it. so I will be posting pictures of that process as well as I'm trained in auto/marine body repair.

This is a Sea-Doo RXP 215 it was the fastest production personal watercraft you can buy out the door. It has now been replaced by Sea-Doo with the new RXP-X 260 (only beats it buy one mile per hour) I acquired the ski from the original owner this past summer here at Lake Gaston NC as my shop (Arcadia Marine) has always taken care of original owners boats and jet skis. The RXP thankfully has never been in salt water. It was also very well maintained first by my boss then by me when I started working with him and always thoroughly cleaned and waxed.

That is pretty cool. I had no idea there was so much aftermarket support for these things. I hate that you have to register these things, any way to get a few bucks out of people I guess.

So you said it was the fastest PWC at the time, how fast is it? I assume the mods will raise performance, what kind of top speed would it have once you're done?

Do a Burnout

But seriously, really cool build, I would like to buy a PWC in the near future, especially since my family is making it a tradition to visit Lake Gaston every summer.
Good Luck with the build

Nah son, AEM yo!

But for real, MoTeC is huge into racing ski's, I talked to MoTeC east for like 45 minutes on just the M1 and insane capability it has at aiding the ski's. Guys running the proto's shaved 4/5seconds a lap with them...

I just spent $170 on title transfer and registration for this. Really..... $170 for a few keystrokes and then hitting the print button WTF!!!!

stock 70mph it was the fastest skit you could buy at the time. Now the new RXPX-260 beats it by 1MPH. Kawasaki aka (shittysuki as we call them at the shop) just released a new 310 deluxe and the 260 walked it like it wasn't shit. This ski here while running the Motec M130 does 91MPH but im shooting for 100MPH

I'm really happy with the M130 but the tune on it just kills gas I use it when I know I will be racing something. A few guys I know on the lake have offshore powerboats (Donzi/Fountain/Scarab) my buddy with the donzi we play back and fourth all the time.

Who tuned it for you? Or is it just a off the shelf factory tune?
