Sounded like he was shifting just fine to me, even the shift to fourth seemed just as fast as the others. I see a little room for improvement on the launch, seemed like he bogged it just a tad.

Bad ass none the less.

Yeah, you can hear the guy in the background say, "oh there you go" after he shifts into fourth..so apparently he finally got a good one.

It'll be interesting to see how the new launch control plays into the times. Any 2010's there Neil?

I bet the launch controls won't get the 60' time down better than when a good driver gets it just right. Seems as though launch controls tend to be on the conservative side but would be more consistent. I've been wrong before though...

There were no 2010s there but I agree with Smokey that the best launches at the strip will still come with the LC off with good drivers and a well prepped track. I would bet that on the street/non strip it would help. I pulled a 1.70 60' time when I ran the 10.85 and managed a 1.72 this past time out all on stock tires.

Yea Jrow should have gone with me.......I think if he would have known the LPE car was going to be there he would have gone. Amazing watching "Plain ol ZR1's" wasnt a good enough draw to get him to go. LOL just giving you a hard time JROW!
