First ZR1 into the 9s : 9.81@145
This was at a private rental at MIR this past Monday that I was at. The car is the Lingenfelter shop car that they are using to test out new parts for.

This car is basicly a bolt on car. It has an upper and lower pulley raising the boost to ~16psi, ported throttle body, larger supercharger inlet , larger intercooler heat exchanger, and of course a tune. It is a stock LS9 with stock exhaust manifolds and exhaust. It has a stock clutch and rear end but they did put the Z06 gear set (shorter ratios)in the tranny. At first they wanted to put a rear gear in the car but since there are no gears avaliable for the ZR1 housing they used a Z06 rear but it would not hold together so they went back to the stock ZR1 gear and just changed the tranny ratios instead.
On another note there were a total of 5 ZR1s at the rental (including the LPE car). The other 4 ZR1s were all stock and every one of them made it into the 10s.

My uncle was there in a red zr-1. I heard that car was awesome, and a lot of other fast cars too. Too bad I'm a pussy and hate standing in the cold or I would have been there too.

Is your uncle Kyle then? He use to have a yellow heads and cam C6 Z06 before the ZR1. He was at the last rental too when I ran the 10.85. He was joking and said that was the final straw that convinced him to get the ZR1. He is a pretty good driver too and I think he ran a 10.87.

LPE flew in that guy to do the driving. I think he was pretty good. They were having problems with the 4th gear syncros and he basicly had to granny shift 4th. His first few run he tried speed shifting 4th and it would not go in. I can see some improvement, like a mid 9 or so, at it current mod level but not much better than that.
