Re: Dual Nissan 200SX's Drift project
i don't normally post in NOVA but i like S12's
yup same rear end, except the V6 S12's got the 24mm anti-sway bar compared to only the 87-89 Z31T's getting a 24mm bar. With that said, raid a Z31T, jack a 96+ pathfinder motor and go 3.3L V6 turbo!
btw if you're looking to ditch the welded diff you can swap in a VLSD and make some franken-shafts without too much trouble

LOL, I've got a buddy named Dave who has a white 87 S12 V6 5spd. Before I clicked on the thread, I just saw the topic and the author and thought it was him.
Anyway, S12's are fun cars.
I want to boso his out, but he won't let me, lol.

Oh, i think it was the R180 in the 4cyl models.. I'm not shure what shafts the S12 came with but hacking shafts are butter cakes especially with tripod's, though the birfield are harder to work with they are said to be stronger. I swapped a VLSD into the Z awhile ago which uses the same R200. The diffs are cheap and can be found at any local junkyard, it would be worth the swap from a welded rear end.
