2-3 months ago. widewater junkyard, talked to a guy driving a GLHS with Carol Shelby's signatures on the dash, still legible. car was pretty beat with a mound of dead cigarettes in the ash tray. guy said he owned it for 17 years. most random, best find at widewater, ever.

The Shelby GHLS was actually kinda beastly during the time frame. . .I saw this one while I went to a dealership with my father in law, because he was getting new rims for his SRT8 Magnum. I tried to buy it but it wasnt for sale.
lol at the intercooler intergrated into the front bumper.

That is actually a 79 omni, before the factory made glh turbo cars. However, I'm quite good friends with the owner, weve both owned quite a few of them.

We have had quite a few of these cars. So much fun. If I wasn't in the middle of my turbo k series crx, I'd be in another omni.

+1 this car has so much potential. I also enjoy seeing the strange and unusual swaps or the unlikely. Like a Ford 302 Pinto or even a Mod Motor in a Camaro or a LSX Motor in a Mustang
