CIMSPORT 2010 True Street build
well, i was debating on doing this, but figured i would show what im working on for import vs domestic. Got the shell from a friend after he sideswiped a truck, used the front end and door for my little brothers car, then put a bunch of extra parts on the car I had laying around. I have been slowly piecing parts together since about February. 95 Integra GSR shell, doing a built 81mm GSR bottom end w SRP pistons, Eagle rods, LS crank. Head is B16 with skunk2 pro1 cams, skunk2 valvesprings and ti retainers. All of the work is being done by myself and friends, in my garage (including the final bodywork and paint, welding in the cage, wiring and all). These pics are just starters:
The car as it looked the last time i ran it... 11.5@117 with a bone stock LS on 15psi with a xenocron basemap.
The process of building the frontmount manifold, using my friends ITR swap as a mounting spot, thats why the header is in the bottom of the pic.
intercooler and turbo mocked up:
first runner tacked, and so on:
engine bay stripped, wire tuck started and shaving the bay also
I will update more as i work on it, i only get the chance about twice a week, on my days off from work. Also swapping out the roof skin to an RS to get rid of the sunroof. :flamesuit on:
