Bored: Here be my 4 Doh...SLOW.
Bored, so I am posting some pics of my daily driver. Just got pretty much done with what I want to do with it for the time being.
Bit O' History:
Bought it as a flooded salvaged title car because it was relatively cheap and that it was going to be my daily. I dont plan to sell it so i didnt mind that it had a salvaged title. After I got it, ripped out the interior and clean the HELL out of it, didnt smell good at all. Cleaned everything and got the remaining water out, put everything back and is now pretty fresh and smelling like flowers. Paint was still decent and have some scratches and dings, plus some oxidation in some places. Car was all stock when bought.
My goal with this was to make it look clean the way I WANT IT too, daily drive it so I can leave the type R at home to save mileage, and get some of the good ol' civic gas mileage.
Please note that I am in no way, shape, or form a PHOTOGRAPHER, my pics will suck cuz I aint got skillz like jrod nor fizzie.
1999 Civic LX/5spd/D16y7
MODS:
-Gunmetal chrome headlights with eyelids
-Raybrig Oem foglights with PIAA ion yellow bulbs and Lamn-x yellow film
-Stock grill painted all black with hand painted red "H"...gangsta fo sho.
-Mugen replica front lip
-Civic type R replica rear lip
-Red/clear half & half
-Rear windshield visor
-Lowered on eBay coilovers (but soon replaced with Ground Controls)
-15" White/polished lip Rota track Rs.

Nice, understated sedan. Like it. I'm not sure if I've seen a mid mounted spoiler like that on a Honda (I don't keep up with Honda trends), but I think I like it a lot more than a trunk-mounted spoiler/wing. Kinda cool. I think only a dark car can look OK with eyelids, so they don't bother me.

thank you sir. Well the rear windshield visor "thing" is a couple years old i would say. I like it better than a spoiler on the trunk also. Just a nice little add on.
Yeah I def wouldnt put eyelids on a non-dark car. But I am going to take them off, i think.

I see your car(Legacy?), around newport news one time, and it is clean also.
