No. The term "bobber" relates to getting rid of anything OR everything that is unnecessary. "Bobbing" or "cutting", pretty much removing it off the bike. This doesnt mean it is going to look "trashy." A chopper is anything with a cut/modified frame.

Mind you, I dont think there is a definitive term to fully describe what a "bobber" should be.

Oh. I thought it was just old bikes cut up and reworked to look like garbage, in a cool way.
