most ppl with slower cars will say street cars need more than what ppl with a quicker ride might say...it's all in personal expirience and tastes.

i agree with ws6, if you have to run on anything higher than 93, i dont consider it a street car, i dont consider a street car a vehicle that has to pass inspection because half the people on this board wouldnt pass inspection for stupid little reasons, there are ways of getting around that shit, haha, so yea, if you run on 93 or less octane, thats my definition of a street car, no matter how wild or modified it is.....

I also agree with running on 93 octane or below gasoline. Just because you can have an inspection sticker on your car doesn't mean that it is legal to drive on public roads.

A street car,in my opinion, is a car that can be comfortably driven. Its a car that if your daily driver was down for a few days and you had nothing else to drive, you could get in your "street car" to commute to work. Its a car that demands respect, but doesn't beg for attention. Its a car that doesn't overheat in traffic. One that isn't so loud that you have to wear earplugs just so you can ride in it!
I have just such a car. It has full exhaust, heat, CD player, power windows, full interior and runs in the 10's.
A friend of mine has one that weighs 3800 lbs., has A/C, six disc CD player, full interior, power everything and just last week went 10.30's on M/T ET Streets!!!
These are the kinds of cars that I consider "street cars".
These cars can be comfortably driven!!

Cheers!!

It's a car that you could sell to a girl that's not into racing.
