how about this..... technology (specially for automobiles) is growing so rapidly... lighter faster built for long lasting life.... pretty soon everything will change again.... be even lighter be even faster.... never know... its coming... and both the s2000 and miata are headed that way... correct?

The future of Mazda depends on how the RX-8 does. There's already rough drafts and talk of the RENESIS option for the Miata and the 4th Gen RX7. They're waiting at least a year after the RX8 hits the market to see how it does though. We just have to wait...

It seems they have a miata "SP" in australia that is essentially a stock 2001+ miata with a turbo to the tune of 210hp, that thread is long but if you have enough patience to read it....basically the miata outaccelerated and outhandled the s2000, so either magazines are exaggerating about the s2000's chassis or the miata's is highly underrated.
maybe this one is underrated but the us ones are trash...

damn man, you kids must not be functioning too well in the morning, if you read my original post a little closer EEK, youll see that i said "the miata SP is a stock miata with an added turbo" which means there is absolutely nothing added to the chassis, it is identical to the US miatas, as for the comment about US miatas being trash well....i dont need to defend myself, maybe you should do a little research before you make a dumb post and reveal your stupidity to everyone

2. a 2000 annversery (sp) edition with 8psi cant beat my hatch
so whys the car so under rated? the car is supercharged 8psi and has a good driver, my car has a b16(the torqueless wonder) and stock exhaust which means no top end...but yet you say its under rated
