You honda boys are not going to like this..
The less weight keeps you from drifting theory is a pretty good one. Thre's so many other variables that can be tossed in though. There needs to be some sort of weight transfer to plant the tires to get grip, suspension would be a never-ending discussion. Overall, it's a good potatoe-head description

Speaking of which... does any shop around here do corner balancing?

RosenAutosports in richmond corner balances....
Vtecolnolgoly ...where do you work that has access to the scales to CB a car? I'll need to do mine again soon to have it ready for this season at the track....and i don't feel like driving to richmond to do it.
The car has been CB'd twice and was very well balanced, but that was before the new cage, new exhaust and new IC setups. I figure very minor tweaking should get it back where i want it.
Let me know what it'll cost if you can hook me up w/ some scales

Not true..
Most people w/ CO's around here got them for ride height adjustablity only and have no clue that they shift weight/load.
We used to get alot of people at Rosen's wanting CO's just to slam their cars. . Too many people complaining that their cars handled like shit after getting them. So, After a while....we required corner-balancing by our shop if you bought CO's from us
