Default wreckless driving for locking up my brakes?

ok so i got a wreckless driving ticket for "locking up my brakes" first off, it was the car in front of me, my friend... second i have abs so if i say that in court it should get thrown out automatically right?

my friend is going to go to court with me and say it was him locking up his brakes

i also got a seatbelt ticket, but i took it off as soon as i stopped...
he said i could say that in court, so i doubt that will go over...

just any suggestions/help

That is stupid...I mean of all the dumb "I got a ticket" threads, this is one of the 3 legit ones I've ever read.

Good luck.

Go to court and fight it, you may want to get a traffic lawyer. Good luck.

lawyers are over rated, honestly, to me, a lawyer is something you need if you know you have done wrong. Go in, dressed appropriately (cannot stress that enough) ... greet the judge (good morning sir/mam), this shit goes a long way. and simply state the facts ... regardless of weather you have a lawyer or not, you are going to get the same outcome depending on how YOU as the defendant present yourself. Dont try and pull stupid technicality tricks, they hear them EVERYDAY and its the last batch of shit they want to deal with ... Just do your thing on your own, if you lose, at least you have the money you would have wasted on a lawyer to pay that shit off.

^ if you call the judge sir or ma'am its your ass. Your honor is the correct term.
