Crank vs. wheel HP depends on the manufacturer, but the kits are only estimated HP out of the box anyway. If you bolt on a "50 shot" kit on one engine it will give different results than a different brand or family engine, or one with different mods. You can't magically create exactly the same HP engine to engine..

This is correct. Alot of things can change what the hp level is on the kit.
Like stated previously it depends on the kit. "Most" of the kits are rated at the crank. NX is rated at the wheels. I believe NX rates theirs at 1000psi.

TNT is underrated from what I have seen. I saw a "50 shot" make 75 on the dyno and I asked the tuner about it. He said TNT is notorious for underrating there kits. This is on a LS1 BTW.
