What was meant was that we had been discussing what had not been in bold(found @ that site), nevertheless the question still remains the same- Do wider tires do or do not give better traction and it is the same traction similar to narrow tire?

In dry conditions and assuming the same tire but wider, yes.

You do get to a point of limited returns though. Your sidewall stiffness is important and if you have the optimal tire width for the wheel width you are using and you decide to go a tire size or two up on the same wheel, you have lowered your sidewall stiffness and added a small amount of material (weight). This will slightly decrease your performance even though the tires are technically wider. There's a lot more to it than that. Fabrik8 could probably elaborate on it if he so desired but I'm not able or willing to at this time.

Someone has to tell this to car and driver, who said, "width only helps lateral grip, not longitudinal traction."

This thread was on track until you showed up. Even despite catching the copy/paste thing. If there is anyone who isn`t an asset here it`s you... bitching and moaning about this site`s social circle. Do you even realize what you`re doing before you start dick punching your keyboard? And nothing in this thread is at "full tilt".

You contribute nothing to this site.

That's tje problem with noobs. You come in here and go way too hard then get upset about how you're perceived. Most of the OGs here have been members and friends for over a decade. It's not a stoking of egos more than its just a developed relationship. The fact that you guys get so anally crushed by not being accepted tends to make me believe you don't have any friends IRL either.

If you'd like me to elaborate, everyone here gets shit. No one is spared the lashing but how you respond to it tells more about your character then 100 posts. When you get all upset about a few unkind negative reps it shows us you'll get upset about lots of other things that don't matter. Like for instance a conversation... The fact that you then took that assmadness and took it out in an uninvolved party leads us all to believe you're a child.

The "social circle" you're referring to are all pretty good friends off this site. If we don't like you it's more for our own happiness. You won't know how to take us and would react in an unfavorable way. I know this has been a waste of effort explaining because you'll just come back with some retarded as fuck post about us being haters and whatnot but the basic message is that you're letting a pixilated image and a sentence from people you've never met ruin your day EVERYTIME you log on. The fact that you care that much and that is makes you visibly sick is only going to propel the intensity and brutality of your lashing(see signature). You're a sheep, you just wore a meat skirt to the forrest and out come the wolves.

Oh and I was the one who originally sent you to Davy jones locker in the Red Sea.

If you take a tire that is two inches wide, and compare it to the exact same make tire with same size sidewall that is a foot wide, I bet you get more traction.

You're worthless. Offered nothing but a bleeding vagina. What a great asset to the "car culture" you are.
