Who to thank for the exhaust law
Granted this is a few months old (since the process started, recently signed though), but I just got around to looking it up because of another exhaust ticket post.
This year the law was going to be changed so that the wording about having to be standard equipment was going to be taken out However, thanks to Delagate Carrico it was inserted back in
Thanks Bill!

[QUOTE=NFCstang]And they're louder then anything I've ever heard on 4 wheels[/QUOTE
In the code they are exempt, now dont get me wrong, I used to ride, but the other day on 264 a tricked out harley was even with me and my windows were down, my left ear almost blew out.
I agree noise is noise. Me myself I think its crap that they dont have to be tested. The law bitches about your neon, your pipes, how low, music level, or just because they can.
The man pulls us for blue dot tail lights, say they cant be seen in traffic, hell these people out here are having rear enders all the time, hello, it doesnt matter, most people on the road are stone cold idiots. I used to drive delivery
for a printing plant was on the road 12 hrs a day and have seen way to much.
But I do agree. dee
