I hear you can rent spring compressors at Autozone or Pep-boys for cheap, that's really the only key tool.

You could also go the ghetto mattress against the wall route but I wouldn't suggest it.

you can always borrow some from autozone or what ever parts place is near you, it would be definatly cheaper than a shop doing it, but you might want to get an alignment once your done.

come on chris. i know you know people that have tools.

and you probably wont find a shop that will do it for cheap enough, so your best bet would probably be one of your dragva******s.

What shocks did you get? My friend had the koni adjustables on his. Good shock, just a pain in the ass to install. Do you know if you have to drill and cut your old shocks or not? I know with the konis, they actually slide into the bottom half of your oem shocks. You have to cut them, then drill a hole in the bottom to bolt the shock in. If it is a straight replacement, I can do it no problem. Don't feel like messing with somthing that will be a pain in the ass though.

i know people that have tools and could probably do this in no time but i don't want to ask them for the help....i don't like to be a pain in the ass...the place that lowered my ITR on tein full coilovers for 100 bucks is asking 200 for springs and shocks, which is weird considering it's the same amount of labor as the coilovers were....so pretty much anywhere that's less than 200 is what i'm looking for...

i got KYB AGX's...i don't know if the installation of them involves cutting or drilling...i've lowered an rsx and two ek civics but i've never messed with 01 plus civics...
