Where'd you learn about cars?
I learned everything from my dad. He taught me how to rebuild engines, do suspension work, regular maintenance, and so on. I'd also say my friends back in high school got me into modifying cars, they taught me quite a bit aswell. I grew up working on BMWs, Mercedes-Benz, and Land Rover. Thats all we've ever owned and all I mainly know how to work on.
This thread doesn't quite apply to me since I do it for a living. I do want to say that everyone I've ever met who went to a school (UTi, Wyotech, local community college auto tech classes) is completely worthless at working on a car.
The best way to learn is by doing.

Working on my own car, as well as watching others work.
My associates degree in Automotive Technology that I'll have this summer helped out a bit too, lol.

Grew up in a family of mechanics. My dad does performance machine work and fabrication, uncle is a body man, other uncle has been drag racing for 30 years. I guess its in my blood.
