If your interested in WORK wheels. PM rijowysock on S2Ki.com
He's a good dealer, great price, & the wait time is no longer than 4 months. Which is pretty good for WORK wheels.

Its limited to works...but he said they can go 18x8.5 emotions in any color with a +35, so maybe its worth the ask to see what else they have.

I know you know your WRX stuff, but what suspension and tires are you running? I just installed my Gram Lights 57Optimise (18x8.5 +45) w/ 245/40-18 Azenis RT615 and I don't see a whole bunch of room for somethign that sticks out another half an inch or more. If you're running serious camber or narrow 245s, maybe.

I think it was Gruppe-S that was selling Gram Lights at great prices. They might have something you like. If you're local and want to try mine on, come on by. I'll be off until January 2nd. lol

i am on coilovers. i have 245/40/18s in the garage.

ideally i want a 18x9 but i might just buy the rota 18x9.5 and see how it is. i mean for $900 it doesnt hurt to try.

ive seen the pictures of 18x9.5 and they seem to poke out just a little. most people have to run at least -2/-2 camber.

heres a pic of 18x9.5

The white car is an '04 with '05 hubs and it looks like he has the '05 rear - which is slightly wider. The black car has 235mm tires, IIRC.

I know it can be done, as I've seen a few cars, but they're usually '05+ STIs with wider rear and bigger bearings. Which 245s do you have? And how low is your car? And Rota has a new 18x9 that Suby Dude is carring, IIRC. Tarmac 3? Is that one of their models?

i have falken 912s the stretch on a 9.5 might help it fit.

my car will be pretty low id say. almost tucking tire. all rotas that are 18x9 are 5x114 such as the boost and svn.

The stretch will help - especially with a lot negative camber. I'm pretty sure that I saw some 9" Rotas that Suby Dude introduced in 5x100. I'd at least contact him if I were you. If you can wait for any length of time, you can order Works or something of that nature. I'm very happy with how my 18x8.5 Gram Lights fit.

yeah i will contact subydude again. the black wrx up there had 04 sti brembos and he had to use spacers to make it fit. so i think 18x9.5 is doable.

I'd email Jerry just to ask, since he does monthly orders, he can let you know what he can get in 5X100. He should be able to get anything subie dude can, I know subie dude is kind of expensive, that's why I'm suggesting Jerry. Not to mention it'll be helping a local guy out.
