That's a great choice too for mostly dry. Wet traction can be iffy at times.

My last set was Falken ziex 502's. 45 bucks each (15's), great dry grip, good wet. That went way down as the mileage went up.

300A (maybe AA) treadwear, lasted 30k miles. Could have been more, but I was hard on them.

Check out www.vulcantire.com for better deals on Falken tires.

EclipZ - 50% of 700 and change is 350 and change...how the fuck do you get 280 out of that?

i made them remove the $75 "tire service and supplies" charges for mounting and balancing the tires and because i know everyone that works there i will get it done for free. it was a little over $700. dont question me, shut your mouth.. choke on your tongue.. and die...

As far as tire size, whats the best way to go? 215 or 225
and 40/45.

Ohhhh...yet another internet tough guy. So easy to be tough when you anonmyous...

If all you have is snide comments like that, keep YOUR fucking mouth shut twit. All I asked was a fucking question since you obviously left out some information (or forgot to make it up) you dipshit.

Don't even try to jump my shit for calling you on your shitty math or storytelling skills.

Spike- Check out a tire size calculator to see how much your speedo will be off and make your decison from there.

I'd go for 215/45/17 so there's a bit more sidewall to offer a little more protection for your rims when hitting potholes and crap around here.

As for me I went with Eagle GT 2's.... Im highly recomending these tires they came with a tread like no other and corner the best ive ever felt.....They are rated #1 for water chanelling and dry grip.......I paid 900 local for tires mount ballance and 4 wheel alighnment.......215/35 ZR 17's i think (7.5 wide)

Dont flame me for the tire size, im not a tire guy....
