im tryin to learn how to paint in the near future, where is a place to buy affordable car paint and car painting tools/accessories? also how do you match factory colors?

...i used omni on my car...its ok but i thinkits starting to fade..also check out Napa..they mix paint and shit...affordable paint tools...thats a funny one....advance has paint guns.....best paint gun to use is gravity fed..pay a lil more..but its a lot better

 

how much paint does it generally take to paint a 2dr vehicle?

 

it depends..on how many coats you do...and if you do door jams and underneath the hood and tunk

 

About a gallon. Go to Mados on Witchduck or a place called TAPE lol...all the painters I know go to those spots for paint.

 

go to sampson monarch, or color masters.

I only use dupont For my paint materials but i can get them all ( sikkens, ppg, omni, nason(which is dupont but cheaper), benjamin moore, etc)

im more interested in practicing on my old bumper from my prelude, so a cheaper paint will do. what do yall suggest and where should i get it? should i get a different paint for fiberglass and metal? what do yall suggest for primer? im gettin ready to google for some prepping tutorials but if yall have anything special you do to prep the car post it thx.
