Default wheel key question

when i bought my car a few months ago, the previous owner had already put on aftermarket rims(dont look too good) but the wheels require a special key to remove the center cap. i didnt get a the key that fits in there with the car, so i dont know how to get them off, anyone have any suggestions on how to get it off? thanks.

ah on that note, if anyone has the stock 240(s13) alloy wheels(7 spoke) that they're willing to sell, tell me

you can break them off with an air hammer or a big screwdriver and hammer.

Also you can use a socket that is slightly larger and pound it on and use an impact to get it off.

You can go to a car place and see if they have a matching key. Most places keep spares.

If you genuinely don't care about the rims and the center cap, go with the previous suggestion and just break the bitch off.

Depending on how the lock is located on the wheels vise grips and some patience might work

Why not just get the key from the previous owner?

i got the car from an independent dealer, who got the car from some place in kentucky. i think the car was sold at a police auction or something, because when i bought it there was a big hole in my dash where the radio used to be, and in the glove compartment, there was nothing except a piece of paper with "kentucky state police" phone number

Maybe post a picture of what the key looks like, someone might have those here and can help you out.

Depending on the lug-style, try a hex-key with a wrench on the end. If you have a hex-key that big.
