I am thinkning ( seriously thinking ) about selling my 2 CRX's and buying an RX-8. Anyone here have and experiances or own one ( if you own one I would like to go for a ride in it please PM me ). I "built" one online and it was like $31,xxx. Opinions on this car please!

rotary isn't my thing. and we have no rotary specialist in the area. so i wouldn't do it.

I wouldn't do it unless you know someone who knows how to work on rotary's. And even if you do know someone, I still wouldn't buy it. I also think they are ugly as fuck too, but that is just my opinion... There's a lot of better cars out there you can get for that price.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the new RX-8. But I will say that the best move I made was going from an old car to a new one. It's night and day. I highly recommend selling the CRXs and getting a new(er) car if you can easily swing it. Which car you want is up to you...

You know you can pick up an LS1 for half that ? With the money you save by getting LS1 drop about 4-5k into it and you'll have one of the fastest cars on the street and still have plenty money left over.

That's just what I'd do though. V8's are my thing

Well with insurance...the RX-8 is a 2 Cyl. INS would kill me on a v8


I love me some v8 muscle..dont get me wrong but I like the styling of the 8 and working on them isnt an issue....brand new car --- dealer---even though I am a mechanic I dont think I should have to touch a car unless it has over 36,000 miles

Well did some looking online and MAYBE a new GTI I dont know what I want or what I can afford with INS and payments. I added the [ayments wrong for the 8 a little to high for me right now.

I say go for it man. They aren't the fastest thing, but they sure are sexy. Plus you have a warranty.
