Isn't it the same engine you have?

On the other hand it sucks getting owned by fbodies and mustangs and shit (in a straight line mind you.) Um, so tell me exactly what I should do next! I'm thinking 5k to drop on it in early August.

edit: Perhaps my best option right now is a simple blower kit for 3500, make around 300 to the wheels, then put the rest into looks. New rims, painted trim (door trim, door handles, etc..) kerscher front lip with CF splitters.. ?
Personally, I'd say go for looks, that way Mustangs like mine can still own you! j/k

All joking aside, I'd go for modest exterior upgrades. Your car is almost perfect the way it is, just keep that in mind. However I'm not really telling you what you want to hear, so good luck. Cheers

Get full coverage insurance would be my first if you don't have it Seems like a lot on here don't have it and then complain when their cars come up missing.

I'd say go for the TMS chip, and possibly a short shift kit and exhaust from UUC motorwerks (they know their shit and the exhaust sounds good as hell).

Also consider looking into a 6 speed and racing cams they = own

Thanks for the comments, and yeah NA tuning on my car is very expensive, it's basically tuned to the max from the factory. I've heard of some people doing euro heads and stuff but that's crazy, the only NA thing I would ever do is a full euro B52 swap. Same year, price, model M3 in europe got 320hp and individual throttles, dry sump, etc. That's a little too crazy/expensive though (unless I blow my engine and talk to insurance )
As far as the chip goes, I have Conforti software on the car already, remus exhaust (getting stromung) and an Autothority cold air intake tomorrow. I might expect 20 hp with all of those (the chip is tuned specifically for use with intakes so that will help a lot when I get one.)

I like some aspects of the AA rotrex supercharger kit, but there is no headroom and the system is running at it's max @ 9psi. The individual oil and intercoolers are very interesting (I'm probably getting some sort of front mount anything if I go FI.)

The only possible engine swaps without serious electronic work would be the euro engines from the E36s. FI euro engines are INSANE.
