ok i just bought a completly stock 1995 honda civic hatchback DX from an older guy that babied it and didnt change anything ... I want to know what to mod first. Should i go for the normal ricer thing and get i/h/e, or should i get cosmetic first? There are jsut so many options to change .. what would yall suggest

na , its a good DD only 94k miles only paid 2k and it get killer gas milage. but i dont like just driving it i want to mod it.

 

Cosmetic. The motor has held up well and honestly I'd just do a few cosmetic changes and not even bother with bolt-ons. Save yourself some money and swap it if you plan on modding it more than cosmetically.

 

Best mod: go to advance and for like .99 you can get one of those for-sale signs for it.



It depends on what you want to do with the car. IMO I would do suspension first, but I'm a "twisties" sort of guy.

how much $ do you have?

if u got liek 2k$ish? then put a decent swap in it...then you will have almost the same gas mileage and will be able to get to work faster

 

If it's your daily driver I wouldn't do much to it. Take Ritz's advice.

 

yeah i was thinking cosmetic and then save up for a swap ... and i only have about 1k extra to spend
