Re: What intake do you use??????????
I broke it down for you in a few simple steps.
1. Materials (can all be found at your local Walmart)
-pair of pantyhose
-RTV silicon sealant
-the appropriate diameter pvc pipe to fit over turbo inlet, just long
enough to give you some room away from the turbo
-a quality sheet of aluminum, cut to a good shape to make a heat shield
2. Assembly
-cut a hole in the heat shield matching the diameter of the pvc pipe
-use the rtv to bond the shield to the pipe so that the pipe can still attach to the
turbo
-tie one end of the pantyhose through and around the pipe so that you can hold the
other end leaving your heat shield+intake pipe assembly hanging by the pantyhose
3. Heres where it all comes together,
-Holding on to the pantyhose with the intake+heat shield assembly hanging, find
something over head, like a tree branch or a closet coat hanger bar, then wrap the
loose end of the pantyhose around your neck and throw the heat shield+intake
assembly over your overhead object so it comes back down on the other side. Now
all you have to do, is grab the assembly and pull with everything you have until
with a little luck, and elbow grease, you choke yourself to death David Carradine
style.
