what i hope high gas prices yeild more of: super-minis!
A buddy an i were talking the other day about hoping this fuel crazy produces more super-light, rwd turbo-diesels (biomass powered) but i'll take a petro 1L toyota turbo anyday.
Toyota Aygo Crazy a beast with 200Hp
Toyota prepared the Aygo Crazy concept,that will be presented next month at the Auto Saloon in London.The unique model is build to offer the pleasure to drive to the rally amateurs.Thats why Toyota Aygo Crazy has a VVt-i engine with 4 cylinders,1.8L 200Hp and 240Nm of torque.
The engine on this Toyota is borrowed from the Celica and MR2 model,with a turbo package added for better performance.Toyota Aygo Crazy can reach a top speed of 205km/h and speed up from 0 to 100km/h in just 5.75s.The car has a 5 gear manual transmission,the same as on the series version,which takes the power through an Helix-Autosport clutch .
To offer a sensation closer to the one you have when you drive a rally car,the constructor decided to remove the ABS and ESP.The interior of the Toyota Aygo Crazy was designed by the specialist from O`Rourke that mounted sport seats and build a roll cage for it.The MacPherson Suspensions of the concept car were borrowed form the roadster MR2.
The fenders were modified so that 17″ wheels would fit.The body kit was completely redone out of carbon fiber,and got a sport and aggressive design.The aileron is actually borrowed from the cars in the series American Champ Car.The weight of the little Toyota model raised with 160kg,getting to 1090kg after the motorsport equipment.
