What got you into modifying cars?
Helping my father build Motors in the garage..or watching him do it when i was young...He has 2 all motor
V8's drag cars...and whats ironic about that, is im ALL ABOUT BOOST......I think my next car will be a V8 and guess what....it WILL be Boosted (turbocharged that is...) The girls aspect never got to me due to the fact that i couldnt give a rats ass about some teeny bopper girls all over me for my ride....I used other methods to get females attention...
oh yea, and Fast and Furious can go to HELL for destroying that perfectly good RS eclipse...lol

I delivered tofu every morning. Slowly I got better and better. I managed to beat everyone that wanted to race me and eventually someone wanted me to join their team. I joined and I learned a lot more, like the one-handed steering, but my dad taught me the most. Every morning he would put water in a cup and put it in the cupholder. I was supposed to drift with the cup in the car. It was really hard but once I started to get the water swirling it got easier.
Well, growing up I always thought sports cars were "cool" but the only ones I ever recognized were corvettes and mustangs. Then when I was in high school I was looking into getting my first car which was going to be an automatic, but then....uh, Gone in 60 Seconds came out and it was all over. lol. That scene towards the end when Nicholas Cage is driving the Shelby GT 500 thru the city and they showed all the shifting and braking with the right foot while taking out the clutch with the left, is what made me get a 5-speed car. And that was that.
My uncle has been racing dirt track since way before I was born...used to go watch him every Saturday from when I was a baby to probably 10-11 years old. I actually learned my numbers and colors from the racecars...I would point at the ones I liked and my mom would tell me what color and number it was...I loved the pink car with the sparkly number 4...GO FIGURE. It just evolved from there, I collected hot wheels and would literally cry and throw a temper tantrum if the McDonalds people tried to give me the girl happy meal with the Barbie instead of the boy's meal with the hot wheels. My mom and dad have also always been into cars...my mom used to sell and buy cars more often than me. She had a super sweet trans-am with the bird on the hood when I was born, Lumina z-34 (when they were brand new), bmw 325, acura integra....
People that I started hanging out with right before I could drive were into modifying Hondas, when my parents asked what I wanted for my first car I asked for an 89 Honda Prelude. Got it, and here I am.

I have no idea. I've always liked pretty much anything with an engine. I raced snowmobiles, dirtbikes, watercraft, etc etc. I like going fast.
My first "nice" car was a Honda. Since I like going fast, the only option was modifying.

I had a shit ton of hot wheels cars that i would always play with when i was little, and would always watch
this ^ guy play gran turismo for hours. Then he got a spec-v and started modding and autocrossing it which got me hooked.

I think hot wheels and matchbox cars are what got me into cars, plus the fact that my dad pretty much shoved me into helping him work on his old Fiero. And just before I was old enough to drive F&F came out then the NFS Underground games, pretty much sealed my fate from there.
