What do you use to wash the car/truck and dry it?
Im not meaning soap, i mean like what type of cloth....and or mit, I had this nice cotton mit that worked great, really no scratches at all after almost a year of use. I would hang it on a hanger inside my house after every use, then one day i left it outside so i trashed it. I went out about bought another one, but it sucks it holds a lot of water, but i swear it doesnt get a bit of dirt off the car.
I saw those brown lookin mits, man i forgot what they say it was made out of.....It was realllllllllly soft, im afraid of any scratches so im really paticular on stuff like this.
I also use the absorber to dry the car, but i dont like how dirt gets caught in there, then drags accross my paint haha.
TIA

best thing to dry the car off with is a 100% cotton towel, hands down.
the absorber will actually pull wax off your car, i recommend you get rid of that asap.

I use Meguiars car wash and a natural Chamois to dry with.
If you wash your car well like you're supposed to you won't be pullin dirt over your paint when you dry!

a nice microfiber towel is what i use to dry with.. I use a 100% cotton wash pad, don't like the mits for some reason.. I think that one your talking about is sheepskin, I had one but they fall apart after like 5 washes.. :/ and they are to $$$ to keep buyin new ones!
I don't think your supposed to drag the absorber over the paint, just pat dry, I have one but don't use it much.. there will still be crap on the surface of your car after a wash..

I use to use cotton towels on my old car, i swear it left scratches(the very fine ones). Dirt meaning if i drop it on accident, or run it near the bottom of the car.
Microfiber towels dont do anything for me but smear the water around.

I just use a sponge to wash with. I used to use the water blade to dry with and then use the absorber in the cracks and areas I missed, now I just use the absorber though.
