What do you look for in Junkyards?

Default What do you look for in Junkyards?
I regularly frequent a half dozen junkyards.

I usually look for

N62 AFM's
Z Brakes
J30 VLSD's
HUD in S13's
Digi Cluster in NX's
Digi Cluster in Z31s
Various Ignitors
Rare option Civic shit
Typical Honda shit
T3 Turbos
DSM Injectors
E30 Dashpads
E30 Rims
E30 OBC's


etc etc.


Just curious what you guys look for in junkyards and whats rare and fetches good money in other makes and models.

I'll bite.

Honda shit
Some DSM shit (turbos, injectors, resistor boxes)
Any aftermarket shit
4x100 wheels
Anything old
Shit that I can modify to fit on my cars. (e.g. the roof rack on my Civic from a mid 90s 4-runner)
Money/Jewelry
Anything that catches my eye (something random left in a car or on a car that I like)

I also collect valve covers and hub caps. I'm always swapping/trading shit like that...

not anymore we went down there Friday and Fred said we couldn't and starting jan1 they have a 45 min on parts.I chuckled and left. Junkyards are bullshit,if i owned one i wouldn't let anybody leave the place without junk.They're just gonna crush the shit whats a ac knob or trim piece weigh
